300zx smells like fuel when trying to start

I have a 300zx non turbo that takes a while to start up like 5 secs and smells badly of fuel after it starts like its flooding it. any suggestions on what may be wrong with it? thanks for any help.

Check your fuel lines. The 300Zs are notorious for having cracked fuel lines over time.

yup, repalced cracked fuel line and allk is well. shit I would burn a quater tank of gas every 20 miles.
