Default Ka24det Turbo ?

Hey ! Guys, new 240 here. I have an 91' 240sx with a KA, and I'm planning to make turbo. But I have a question: can I used the stock pistons ? Would they hold. I'm not planning to go crazy with the horsepower or the boost either. Need some help here. Thanks.

first welcome to the board. next there is a section dedicated for Nissan, that will answer all your questions. but before you go in there asking, please use the search button. This question has been asked countless times. Also google helps too.

good luck and welcome

yes you can use your stock pistons and rods if you stick to a smaller turbo like a t25 or t28 but it must be on low boost.

welcome.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
