Default DYNOED- VQ35HR - 12HP 27FTTQ GAIN - Bassani Exhaus

I have to say that I am very happy with my numbers. I could tell after I got the exhaust on that the mid range power had increased considerably, well it now shows through the dyno. This was done with just a Bassani cat back, stock cats on the car as well (no high flows or test pipes). The car sounds awesome, a little louder at WOT but stock sounding at crusing speeds.

I am doing a full install video that will include before and after runs, exhaust sounds, drive buys, and the install. I will update this link accordingly once its done.

I'am still kind of heated with all the vendors... their is still no way of getting any 'off the shelf' boost for the HR. Power gains with just a few boltons are amazing. 12 sec e.t's should only be a few boltons away, considering people are already running mid to low 13's with our cars (bone stock).

Mark just interviewed a company making an OTS VQ-HR turbo kit.

I saw that it leaned the AFR's out a little, but 12.0 is plenty of fuel for an NA car. I run my car at 12.0-12.2 at 8-9psi.

I'm curious to see what it does to the bumper. The tips look like they mount a little close. Probably not an issue with the cats in the car, but things might get warmer with test pipes, long-term.

Also, what's that nonsense at 4700 and 5500 rpms? Are you having clutch issues already?

holy crap, lean that thing out. theres no reason for an n/acar to run that rich. i've noticed that alot on newer car dyno's. most new cars that are direct injected are pig rich from the factory, which doesn't make sence cause they should be able to have more control over the a/f ratio.

do the nismo intakes next and see how much that gets you.

Greddy's kit is supposedly awaiting carb certification before they release it (I learned now that they plan on releasing it in Feb.) GTM's kit is supposedly already out. But no word on pricing, and I haven't seen anyone using their setup yet.
