Default 245-50-16 on an S14 SEwheel

Is a 245 too wide for an S14 SE wheel?

Thanks,

shouldnt be, it will look like a monster truck tire though bowed out on the side walls.

i used to put 225's on tear drops... and those are not as wide as the s14 se's right?

yeah it is.
I had 235 before, lots of flexing. ehhh, scary when changing lanes on the highway. Feels like having a uncontrollable tail. Just jerk the steering one way, the flexing is very noticable

^ same sh1t. 7" wide

If you find them in 17", i need some tires!!!

tire width and the rim width.

i have a 7inch rim with a 245 on it right now. so i think it will be fine depending on the width of the SE. but i dont know how wide the se is so i cant be of much assistance right now lol.

and patrick, im heading to davis islands and then USF right now. just give me a call and we will see where we can meet to make it easiest on you

thanks bud

thanks,
Tony both, I should have been more clear, 245-50-16 tire and the wheel is an S14 SE, but i wasn't sure of the SE width. I thought they were 6.5"

DJ, Nitto drag radials.

Stock S14 SE's are 6.5' wide.

I have 245's mounted on 7.5' Z32 wheels and its about as wide as I would go on them.

245 is 9'' wide tire; its a bit of a stretch inwards to mount them on stock SE's
