Another coilover question.
Tanabe would be it, or any coilover that comes with spring rate of 5kg/7kg, which is a notch lower than most.
Most you have a choice of being in even numbers. I had the typical 8/6 on my S14 as DD. It was slightly on the rough side, but that was me coming from tein springs. To some, it ain't rough until get 10/12.
There's a thread that was made in the past on the spring rate of many kind and brands of coilovers. I believe it was in the drifting section.

Thanks for the info Sandy. The Ksports on ebay have a 5kg/7kg spring rate. But some people on here say they are stiff as hell. Thanks why I'm asking. If I'm going to drop $800-$900 I want to have as much info as I can.

k-sports are garbage....STANCE is perfect for your 1k price range...i have them on my s14 they are beefy as hell. ride super nice and come with 2 sets of springs
finally someone says it.
I decided to go with stance coilovers. They just released the GR basic which is in my price range.
