noise in engine bay s13
ok i had this wierd noise coming form what seems to be the front of the motor
car runs and drives fine
i kinda think it has to do with a pulley but not to sure the noise is like the noise you would get if u put a penny in a glass bottle and shook it
and its not the timing chain
please help and u will be repped

If it gets really loud under acceleration then its rod knock but Im pretty sure its not that. I admit that I didnt know the difference was when I first got my car but after hearing so many Ka's I got used to the timming chain, 90% of the people who hear it will say its rod knock but if you know your ka's then you know what it is... I hated people telling me I had rod knock hahaha.

doch noise was happening and i had the timing chain replaced not timing chain deff does not sound like a knock motor only has 90k on it and was granny driven im at a lost guys
