So the auto in my truck is going out so its time for a manual swap.

Anyone ever done this swap ?

What transmissions can i use ?
240 5speed ?

other things i need to know?

and were is the best place to get parts ?

 

YOU WILL NEED SLAVE CYL. CLUTCH MASTER CYL. CLUTCH PEDAL, TRANSMISSION FROM 300ZX OR 240 SX AND OF COURSE A FLY WHEEL AND CLUTCH.DEPENDING ON MOTOR IN HARD BODY. CROSS MEMBER MAY OR MAY NOT WORK. IF YOU HAVE A V-6 YOU COULD USE EVERY THING FROM A PATHFINDER, CHECK OUT BIG 3 U PULL IT FOR MOST OF THE PARTS YOU WILL NEED. i AM IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING A VQ30DE WITH 350Z 6 SPEED IN A 97 HARDBODY.

thanks last time i went to big 3 they didnt even have a harbody. or any decent 240s
