we took it off from the top, the ka is out, we are about to clean the engine bay. then start the five speed shit and drop in the sr


we still need to get out that mount so the sr is in the right place and everything

and awsome cant wait for tim to get here, right now its just 3 of us lol

ugh.... well im happy with what we got done being that only 2 guys showed to help but still frustrated with the over all situation

stuff done
-ka out and sold
-ka sold
-5 speed conversion pretty much done
-power steering converted
-motor prepped to go on along with engine bay

but over all 2 stripped bolts kept the motor out tonight, 1st the driver side KA mount stripped on the bottom.. we said ok we will just use that one with the SR(which turned out to be nice because the sr driver side was shot anyway)
well when we go to pull off the mount on the SR the fucking thing is stripped too. so the motor stayed out for tonight but will be in and done by tuesday which is my next day off.

jacking up the sr before realizing the mount was stripped

 

anyone a master of getting off stripped bolts?? lol

 

you can try using a dremel. just notch the bolt and screw it out with a flathead screw driver.

 

taking the motor out took 7hrs?
