What does a complete 110k mile 5 lug swap go for? I have an SE with stock rims. My buddy has this car, 4 lug. Would it be worth (monetary wise) to trade him my 5 lug setup and stock rims for his 4 lug setup and those 17" rims?

My car's purpose is really just to be a clean DD that I can play around with every now and then on an Auto-X. I figured it's a free set of nice rims and tires. Or would I be able to sell 5 lug setup and by my own rims and tires and have money left over...

i bought mine a few weeks ago for 300 for all 4. rear end generally goes for 200 and front for 300.

 

And you'd have to pay me to ride in an s13.

We all have different likes. So don't worry about it.

make sure you arent doing S14 and S13 front hub swaps cause the spindles are different! The rears are the same though. You have to change the "knuckle" and drill bigger strut holes and purchase sleeves and ball joints from the dealer if you don't want to purchase converted wheel hubs.
If you're doing S14 and S14, thats no problem there.
eBay sells converted hubs.

Please don't put those rims on your car... save some $ and buy some 350z 7 spokes if you want cheap 17's. They look 1000X better than 4 lug chrome rims and sit way more flush. As a matter of fact... here you go!
