Default Questions for buying a 240..?

I'm going to be in the market for a 240 soon (car totaled, need a new one, dumb bitch rear ended me). Just wondering what I should be on the look out for. I want an auto 95 or better. Don't plan on putting any Go in it, just going to be all show eventually. What's a decent mileage to look out for. Any parts I should be concerned about going bad? Normal problems for an engine with X miles on it? Just don't want to pick up a car with say, 120k miles on it, and have it crap out on me, or need major repairs in another 2k miles. Thanks guys

auto s14's with that kinda mileage don't usually have a whole lot wrong w/ them most of the time.. listen for rod knock and timing chain rattle (but timing chain rattle is normal) le sigh.

Ya the rattle is probably the only thing you'll notice. check for worn out rear sub frame bushings(loud thud when shifting gears or hard on the brakes, nothing to major).Power steering leaks, rear window trim,o2 sensors. thats about it or at least thats whats been up with mine.

Other than what was said, you will be using common used car inspection.

All cars have subframe bushings, O2 sensors, windshields, etc. So it doesn't matter if it's a Lotus or a Civic, you should use common sense when purchasing a used & new vehicle.

I actually have a 95. Things I ran through before I purchased:
Rod Knock
Timing chain
Exhaust leaks, cat back rattle
tranny shifting with casual driving and aggressive driving, also reverse of course
Sun roof leak
A/c working
lights, wipers, pretty much all eletcrical
camber on tires
weld spots
rust from spoiler holes

that was pretty much it for major things.. there are a few places that i found some nice s14s in tampa area when i was looking.. how much are you looking at spending and what mileage, i may have a few places you can check out that arent performance, just simple s14's

LMAO le sigh
