Damn. My 06 Altima has been flawless (no probs, no recalls) for the past 46k miles.

Its just a reprogram, all companies have these, hyundai had one because the speedometer needle-with rapid stops, could get knocked off the pivot. GM has reprograms for shifting concerns that could cause an accident. But most companies get away with calling them "Campaigns" or "actions" A real recall is when they buy the vehicle back, like my Moms Nissan Van, back some-odd years ago.

Kinda sux for my mom cuz she had to shell out some money to get this fixed and it happens every year in the summer months. She had to get an extended warranty to cover the parts because her orig. warranty either expired or did not cover the repair I figure which one.
