I think my alt. went bad or something with my wiring got fucked up tonight on my way to CCC., I'm freakin lucky one of my friends was driving back home from a st.pete meet and seen me on the side of the road with my hood up fucking with shit. I doubt its my 3week old battery even though it was acting like it, Couldnt be my starter. It has to be a Connection somewhere or my alternator.

Anyone have a clue?? All the sudden my radio was fucking up then it looked like my lights were getting dim then the motor started sputtering and my gauge cluster needles were going crazy, My lights stayed on the whole time but were dim. Going back in the moring to figure it out.. IM pissed right now.

 

My alt. Almost fell off yesterday. Snapped the upper tension bolt, and the lower bolt was missing the nut and was half way out of the bracket.

All fixed though and runs as strong as ever.

(first time I've had to fix something my car since I bought it last january)

OKay guys, I walked the mile to where my car was.. got in and started it right up and brought it home. I'm pretty sure its my alt. but on my way home the battery light was on so Im guessing the car was running off that?

edit: With further investigation with some daylight in the engine bay theres NO belt on my alt. LOL soo new belt time haha thats fucking gaytown problem but better then getting on the ground to pull out the alt.

 

uhhh did you check your water temp as you drove home?

and nothing went wrong with my 240 today, thank god.

uh no but I could tell it got pretty hot for only going a mile..

 

uh that might be because the belt on your alt->waterpump->crankshaft pulley was off.

 

my top part of my front bumper doesnt line up right for shit, and i cant figure out why.
