ebay manifold? jw because i heard of them breaking

 

yeah ebay. it was 120 shipped so im not complaining. im not ready to throw out 900 bucks on a peak boost. its a sr20 topmount t3 flange tubular

the wastegate flange broke off so we welded it up and made supporting tabs all over it. so far its holding up no leaks "knock on wood" haha

 

thats a good price for a most of the time good product!! lol dont blame you for not wanting to spend 900...but hopefully it stays without leaking or breaking again! thats still a shitty situation, glad you didnt lose a wastegate haha

 

yeah it was held on by vac lines haha i pulled it off then i zip tied the lines shut and made it home. my shock tower is burnt black now but it already was

 

you can see some of the brackets. the welds arnt pretty but theyre strong

we patched the manifold on the wastegate side so its twice a thick as it was with a bracket on each side

the turbo flange has 2 brackets also with one that holds the wastegate flange to the turbo flange.

i highly recommend doing this be4 installing a ebay top mount mani i havent herd of bottom mount ones cracking but it can happen

got evering thing fixed and now the sr dies out at idle

 

 

Stupid exhaust heat shield is rattling / belts screech / effing driver side rear strut is dead... I still love her though...
