i have this issue with my sr. when i move/shift/raise this one wire , my whoel motor sputters and stops. but when i put it back down before it stops, it idles fine again. what gives?

the wire is connected to teh maf i think

if the wire is connected to the maf plug, it might not be a good connection, if your lifting the wire, it might be shorting your MAF causing it to sputter, bog, not boost, etc. i suggest you get a new plug and re-wire it, that might help.
