cant get my s14 sr to run quite right....
well its been a long project but i got it running today and i cant quite get it to idle right and it just sounds like its a little off.. ive played with the timing and i was told to check the throttle position sensor but the tps and throttle body are from an s13 sr... lmk what to check and what to tweak... im getting kind of pissed off.

have you done the simple check list?
like vacuum leaks and such? i had a really small vacuum leak back in the day and my idle was just slightly off but super annoying

Went there today it was way messed up when i left they were going to get new gas just incase there was water in it. When I was there we couldnt even get it to idle for a second. And you smell alot of fuel. Any Ideas Will Help

stock exhaust? could be a clogged cat if it will start for 1 second and stall. also could be bad gas, have you checked the plugs to see if they're burning lean (white) or rich (black/wet)?

do you have a aftermarket air filter on it? if so do you have the right adapter? if you block the MAS it can give improper reading's and wont let it idle at all you can just take off the filter and try starting it... not saying that's 100% sure fix but i had that happen to me once, i grabed to wrong filter addapter out of my part's bin LOL it took me about 15min to find that one LOL but give it a shot it cant hurt

nope full 3" exhaust. but the plugs are black as hell... the gas in the tank is kind of old.. could that be the problem .. i threw in some fuel cleaner and fresh gas yesterday (with the old stuff...) and fixed a fuel leak i saw replaced the fuel filter etc.. but nothing seems to matter that much...
