what is the highest psi a DET or DE w/FMAX kit can run on stock internals?

Correct maybe 14psi the limitation is the small turbo NOT the internals. Bolt on a bigger turbo and the internals will handle 400-450hp.

The DE engine WILL never make that kind of power with OEM internals.

on the contrary i know of 2 sr20des that are pushing 400+ on stock internals. the stock boost for a BB (bluebird) det is 7psi.
the DE is very capable of handling a turbo with 12psi as long as the motor pistons bearings etc... are in good condition. (I did more research this weekend. ALOT actually!) the internet is a very good tool! especially webrings!

thanks for your replies!

Let me clarify....the DE engine can not run that boost level on stock internals at stock compression ratio as a daily driven car. You might be able to get away with it once in a while at the track etc. That high of a boost level on the DE engine will not last long.
