Default bizarre steering problem

Replaced the rack in my s13 with a rebuilt one. When I started the motor to bleed the system, it just turns itself lock to lock over and over again. Forcefull enough to be hard to stop by hand. I see a leak going on when it is running from the high pressure line near the electrical sensor when it is doing this. What could cause this and what to do now?

the lines on the rack are backwards that is what causes it; not thelines by the steering rack the ones on the bottom of the rack.

The lines are two diferent sizes , it would be pretty much impossible to hook em up backwards. ahh, the bottom ones, but aren't they diferent lengths and shapes?

Kinda afraid to let it do it long enough to get a vid, it is kinda violent and will probably break something.

Yah, I get it,, I didn;t hook them up cause the numbnutz who rebuilt the rack already had them on backwards.... They are indeed reversed from the ones on the rack i removed. Thanx for the quick response. I will try to jack it up and switch them now.

Switched them over and it is all fine now. Mind boggling that you pay for re- manufactured so the "experts" will get it all right, and something like this shows up. Too bad I don't have enough fluid left to bleed it,,,, sigh. tomorrow for sure.

Looks bad for the video prospects now.
