Default Project 93' 240sx -**read me**-

Watsup TR, most of you dont know me, well other than buying some nissan/honda parts and selling/trading car audio. I was recently *going* to sell my 240 and all the parts i have, but i decided not to due to things finally going my way at work, more pay and the 4 AM - 1pm/2pm and only working 4 days aweek. i make alot more money and have all the time in the world now. I haven't been to involved with TR other than a few desoto events (just hanging out). So im reaching out!

Been into nissans since my dad bought a 90' 240sx se with a few little mods back in 98. Last year i got into it pretty good, bought a 93' base model with some suspension upgrades in it. the motor (ka24de) developed a knock with in 2 weeks, it sat around for a few months before i decided to rebuild the motor. I went and bought 2 new rods, brand new crank, cleaned/resurfaced pistons (not stock), got all new bearings/seals/gaskets. Only major issue was the head was horrible, i found it was going to cost alot more than i wanted to spend to have it fixed. Shortly after that i was like forget it..

I then bought a 2001 Black Ford F-150 Supercab 4x4 w/ leather/offroad/sunroof package! (my dd- flowmasters, superchip, and the performance 5.4 motor)

So now that im 100% focused on the 240sx (project), I want to get involved as much as possible with TR, meets/shows/events, Anything and Everything.

Im looking for Tips, Help, Pointers, Suggestions. Places for parts, machine shops (head work mostly) Good Paint work. and most of all to get to know TR/nissan crew. Hit me up, Pm, email, or just gimme a call. rixter3390@Hotmail.com (941) 962 8716.

Some Pix: It's Got Potential!

ditch that interior...thats step one.

as for parts, the best deals are on the Nissan For sale page, or extra stuff that shops have laying around, driven concepts always has tons of extra stuff laying around, other good places are xat, enjuku, etc. You can find them in our vendor's section.

Next step... whenever you run into an issue that you need tips, tricks, etc on, just post it up, there's a lot of knowledge in this forum, but you gotta ask to get it. What are you planning for in the long run? daily driver with good power? drifter? dragster? Good luck, i love my nissans, there's always something else to do.

as for tr meets and stuff, i've never been, well, i haven't been since drift day 1, which i came across by accident

im gonna start up again on the motor i have on monday, just need to peice it back together.

as for interior and stuff, i have my idea's set on colors and gonna redo the entire inside as well as outside, but first things first with the motor and all. for my first build of a 240 im looking to get a DD with some power behind it, my dad still has the 90 sohc, so i was thinking of taking that off his hands later on and making a dragster out of that. but thats later on of course

240's are so light that a good all motor build on a dual cam ka, or even a simple turbo kit makes it even better to drive, SR is easiest most reliable way for power though. you'll be glad you kept it.
