car seems to ride ok, haven't noticed any leaks, power steering came back to life. it does sound cool riding around with no exhaust though, backfires are hilarious. once the exhaust gets fixed up it should be running 100% again

 

Finally got my motor completely back together. Just waiting on flywheel/cluch then it all goes back in the car.

 

Tried to make it run right and Failed... Will try more tomorrow.....

 

Got it running again. Recharged the A/C, adjusted the idle. Car runs good, but the power steering rack is leaking like a bitch at the driver side tie rod.

 

pissed at it cuz it is still leaking out the head gasket..

 

did the 5 speed swap and j30 diff.

 

Front main seal and general de-lousing of the engine bay.

 

Someone needs to invent an 8th day of the week so I can get my bucket on the road.

 

I remember watching that Overhaulin show once and Chip Foose is having a meeting to discuss what they've got left to do. A little more than a day left with 3 days worth of work to do. "No problem. A day is 24 hours... that's three 8-hour days".

 

I remember that too.

Too bad I don't have a well-lit warehouse with no neighbors, I'd probably work on it until at least midnight. Neighbors aren't as receptive to an open downpipe as one would think.
