im very confident in stock internal KA's. my current KA in my s14 has 245,000 on it. the last 2 previous owners used it as a drift car. they had it for about 3-5 to 4 years drifting the heck out of it. when i got it i just did all tune up stuff to it. i been beating the living hell out of it too. it holds up to everything you can throw at it. patterson runs shifting at redline flooring it, pretty much treating it like a fucking race car. lol. the only thats has gone wrong on it was a tiny vaccum leak. i honestly dont see how you can blow up a KA easily? lol i just keep up with maintence and it runs like a fucking brand new motor. idk

hold on u r going to be boosting a motor with over 245xxx...
i wouldnt i would just leave it alone untill i get one rebuilt.
but i am not you lol
all its going to do is blow rods out the side of the block..
before you go in boost it do a compression test to it and see where the compression sits at.. im not doubting you all the way it is just boost puts alot of strain on the motor and it being an ass load of miles dont help at all... and on other hand if it is ur DD to get you to work and back dont blow it up..

+ 345676543

make a vid of when you get into boost without ur hood on so we can all see shit blow up.....
dude dont boost a motor with 245xxx that is just asking for trouble. if you did ur research on boosting ur ka you came across people trying to do the same thing you are and they did not suceed... as ur motor sits it has a good block to be rebuilt dont blow rods out of it.
