You'd be surprised at what that trans will hold. It's no weakling and can cheaply be built to hold way more than the T56 can.

Dam man that shit looks great. I wanna do that to my coupe. It makes the engine bay look so slick.

 

+1 and I don't know if you know, but to firm up the shifting on those is so easy!!! lol remove pan turn screw put pan back on. If I remember correctly I think the auto can handle 450-500 hp before you really need to start building it up.

 

As per the usual, I'm being held up by a 2 dollar part. Fuckshitass. Guess I should just go out and start working on the control arms/front suspension.

Someone drop me off a shifter bushing, none of the parts stores carry this thing.
