I freaked out some teenage cheerleaders drifting one of the turns on lutz lake fern rd tonight at about 7pm. I saw them all practicing in those maroon tiny shorts so I threw the car in the turn and got a little sideways. haha they all looked like wtf

tore carpet out of trunk due to the fact that it reeked of gear oil and took off noisy timing chain guide.

 

its only driven around 15 or so miles a day.
car drove fine to work. noticed timing chain was making more noise then normal.
parked it. end of day went to start it and it would not even attempt to run. few trys later it starts and sounds cammed out like a drag car... seriously...gave it gas it died.
i go to pop the hood and the cable comes off at the latch... just my luck now i cant get under the hood.
tryed again same thing.
tryed again and the motor bucked wildy and would not start.
tryed again and it would not even attepmt to run.
tryed few more times nothing. waited and smoked a cigg.
tryed again and the car runs again sounds cammed out but now ALOT less then before but still died apon throttling.


please explain to me what else it is then if you can which i doubt........

guy used a impact from hell to put the bolts on though, and while in the past that has never stopped me... i have met my match(fuckers almost snapped my wrench)

so coils wont be on until weekend when i can get to another impact prob...

What are you using for a transmission? And why did you decided to keep such a short wheel base? IIRC the older chassis wheel base looked a bit longer (in the pictures atleast). Looks like alot of fun to drive!

And waldo, make sure to put make a gasket for the top shock mount (standard gasket paper work). They squeek like all hell if you dont. If you get lucky the OEM one might still be there.
