Havent heard anything about Ramon recently. I knew he blew up his ka and is building another.

The engine shot i posted belongs to a gunmetal s14 kouki.

Btw, no need to put it in the passenger's seat, engine bay can fit it fine:

Horrible oversized pic..700hp daily ka-t..

I've been interested in air/water setups for about a decade now. You can make them with ultra short piping, the have almost negligible pressure drop, and you can wing mount the heat exchanger to keep fresh air to the radiator. The you have the option of doing an ice water reservoir!

Eyeballing the core on that Nova, it looks like about 700-800cfm worth. It also looks like he'll have another on the driver's side, so about a 1000hp setup.

Silly question: What happens when the ice melts..? I need to do some research about these setups. They look interesting.

You lose efficiency, and your IAT see's the difference.

Its not for driving around on the street all day looking for a race Kevin, it's for short term use at the track.

That's kinda what I figured. Are the gains really that great over conventional air-air setups with meth? I kinda want to see a cross section of one of the cores.

Bought some wind shield wipers and a throttle cable for the truck.

Now I just need to get the brakes to work correctly and the throttle to not stick.
