You somehow ASSUME that my engine is heavy and the car wont handle well. You couldnt be further from the truth, and since you dont comprehend it, only time will tell.
Are you running an actual LS block, or a cast truck block with LS heads/acc?

LQ9 truck (escalade 10.0:1 compression, heads are 317 castings which flow similar numbers to LS6 heads), longblock, cadillac CTS-V front accessorys, GTO T56, LS6 intake manifold, LS7 clutch.

Back on topic, ordered the muffler for it, now to order some 3.5" mandrel bends from stainless works, and some 3.5" 304ss tubing, and a foot of 4.5" to add a ricer style tip to the borla.

So after all this arguing, your using a cast block after all? And all this weight savings shit, just went right out the door?

How many LS1's, KA's, SR20's with everything, or any other engines have you actually had on a scale ?

A little bit of info for you, your KA also uses a cast iron block, if you didnt notice, the crankshaft is similar in length, and also similar in weight, your intake manifold is cast aluminum, mine is a composite, your front accessory brackets cast steel ? Mine aluminum, combine that with the location of where my engine actually sits, and that things also get balanced out by the transmission which weighs more shifting the weight rearward, and down low, and things dont go nearly as off as tim is hoping.

FYI there is only a 60 or so lb difference between an aluminum LS1 block and the iron block. My engine weighs less than an RB, and the weight is also further rearward, when you have some facts, please feel free to try and attempt an arguement.
