What I'm saying is check this assembly...

The striking lever rides in a channel formed by the ends of the shift rods (3 things I circled). It's possible for a rod to slip or the lever to get behind the end of a shift rod, which would trap it in gear. Sound familiar?

love the cummins, hate dodge, watch out for the tranny, lol. oh and btw did you know cummins is a ford engine that dodge bought the rights to for like ten years or something like that

Um, isn't Cummins a seperate company that FORD became a controlling interest party in and also contracts out to Dodge??? there is a difference.
