"fixed" my car in the hotel parking lot last night.
wanted to find some alignment shims, but no parts places sell them, so rather than look for tire shops and walk around the parking lot looking for some, i bought some washers and a hacksaw, cut enough of the washer out to slip around the motor mount stud.
then. jack car up with floor jack, use chris' stock scissor jack under the trans. loosen drivers mount, and lower car onto scissor jack. tape 3 washers together so they dont slip apart, and pry the mount up and slide them in. got them in, steering shaft clears, went for some passes down the road and seems fine.
back to deals gap and devils triangle today.

it did for me too. I sold my whole DD(that fuckin VW) to pick up my motor set. i was just smart with my money while i was living with mommy and daddy to where i got the big stuff before i had to pay rent lol!

But I also work for my moms business, so it makes it easier in the long run. I have been thinking more and more to go SR instead of rb20 or ka-t. I guess we'll find out when I can actually afford it
