Looked at, drove it, realized how much I love it and hate it at the same time.

Drove the kouki to some shops for quotes on a full repaint. Just not sure if I should go with the Maaco special or pay the $$$ for a high quality, pro job. It does, however, need some lovin' in the paint department.

Suggestions?

spend the money, get a real paintjob. Whether it be single stage from a good shop, or what ever.

/discussion.

If its going to be a beater car, get a macco paint job, I've had a few friends get the cheaper single stage jobs and they turned out pretty decent. Its not show quality but it will look better than 99% of the 240s out there. And it will last 2-4 years if you actually keep up with the maintenance.

If its a really nice street car that you plan on spending tons of money and going to show to win throphies and stuff then spend the big money and get a real paint job.

I personally wouldnt spend to much on it because eventually something will go wrong and some part of the car will be knicked or dented and new new panels and paint.

Should be ordering full s14 5 lug swap w/ lca's for the hatch.

Do I need to use s13 lca bushings, or are s14s fine?
