Yep, it's the old T25 & manifold from my old SR blacktop. Kinda thinking of doing a budget low-boost KA-t build now since the turbo has minimal shaft play.

Has anyone done a KA-t with a SR T25? I'd just like to know what to expect or if I shouldn't even waste my time with this thing. And no, I am not going to rig the hot water heater into the car (as awesome as that would be).

 

haha did you find that in the gulf of mexico or something? jk! I think itd be worth it if its going to be on a "buget low-boost" deal. I wouldnt hold my breath thinking youd put down alot tho.. G/L!

 

Don't really want it to put down a lot of power, just more than what I've got. The low 200's would be just dandy. I've since cleaned it up, it looks decent now.

ka-t with t25 makes it slower then healthy ka with I/H/E

you need a t28 to match 2.4 litre

 

+1, T25 is just too small for the KA to really do anything.

healthy t-25 @ 1 bar setup right will do 280/280.


or in most cases at least 210/240. with a powerband equal to that of an n/a ka.



craig, id hit up ka-t.org and freshalloy. some of teh setups there are freaks, but the majority of people can put down good FUN power. the best part is you can use all SR parts, minus the manifold, so its all plug and play. s13 sr fmic will fit ka with a longer TB coupler.

 

Glad you understand what I'm after, Dan. It's not meant to be a powerhouse, it's just a stopgap until something better goes between the shock towers. Just something fun that makes cool noises that I miss.
