Ok, so I am pretty sure I know what the problem is, but wanted a second ( or third ) opinion.

Today, when I was driving home, anytime the RPM's got low,from stopping at a light, or whatever, the CD player, and radar detector would turn off, and wouldn't turn back on until I got the car moving again.

I got to where I was going, and kinda figured when I got back to the car, it wouldn't start. Of course, it didn't. So, I am thinking it's the alternator, am I correct in thinking this?

And if so, does anyone have an extra single cam alternator laying around that I can use for a week or so?

 

i have a dual cam altenator

 

test your alternator by un doing the battery while it is running, if the car still runs but like shit and bogs out then its your alternator, if it runs smooth with no hesitation after you undo the battery then you have a bad battery.

 

it works with the single cam btw ronnie

 

Would that work on a single cam? Not too sure of the things that can be swapped from single to dual.
