I heard there was a place on Hillsborough that is a badass tuning shop. Anyone know where this is exactly, or the name of the place? The car needs tuned pretty bad. Thanks for any input.

ahhhhhhhh the vq sentra swap... This is one of my favorites.... big thumbs up for doing this !! I'm Martin and do a lot of tuning (mainly Nissan) .. We have a dyno in house and I have tuned almost all standalones out there. What are you running in terms of ECU and what do you need done ?

well i cant tune the car. martin, travis said he is going to call you. but travis burelle is the guy that did my swap. the a/c board and tach adapter is modified to work with the new motor. i have an afc neo but am selling it because it will fry the a/c board and tach adapter. this is what travis is going to call you about. i thought there was another way to tune a car other than using an afc. but there isnt. therefore, i cant tune the car i guess. kind of blows.

 

you can definately use and tune the NEO... I have installed tons of them on 350Z's and 3.5 Maximas. You have to get a MSD tach adapter that goes from coil pack output to usable rpm signal.. This costs around $90 and can be bough here in town.

yeah the tach adapter solution makes sense but its also the a/c board. let me know what travis tells you. he said he would be giving you a call. i guess a tune isnt even a big deal since all i have is bolt ons. but i figured it would still be a nice thing to have done.
