hello . ok here is what i got i got a 92 s13 with the ka24de in it im new to nissan so dont know much about them well when i i lay into the car and shift from 1 to 2 gear at a hi rpm it will not get into 2 or it will for a sec and then it will just rev up and i dont hear it pop out it just like not there but if im driving normal its fine what could it be and ill also smell the cluch some but im throwing it all the way back so i dont know what it is any one that can help thanks

uhhh is your clutch old and slipping? get a new one and see what happens. g/l with the duece.

 

not going into gear... have you tried synchromesh yet? that stuff works wonders
as for the whole going in gear but not really kinda thing, chances are your clutch is just slipping... does it eventually catch?
you bought an older car, I'm betting over 125,000 miles (at least on the tranny) and the guy you bought it from thought it was a race car and would slam it into gears. probably hurt the synchros (synchromesh ought to fix that) and ate up the clutch ( a new one will fix that)
