Default Door speakers?

Anyone ever put 6 1/2's in teh door of an s13?

I got a good deal on some and might try to squeeze them in.

Looking to see if anyone has done it before.

Yes.

I ALWAYS do this.

you can buy rad adaptors that make it a screw in bolt in affair off of Ebay.

just type in 240sx 6.5 speaker and you'll find them.

best $20 iever spent. seriously. I have infinity kappas at all four corners, but will upgrade to diamond audio sometime next year.

the other thing you can do, is get the infinity plates that replace the crappy 4x6 with a nice 4" mid round speaker and a 2" tweeter and a 1" tweeter 3 way component plate set.

Don't forget to run all new speaker wires, and have a good quality ground!

Nice, I already have made 6x9 boxes and I have bypassed the shit speakers in the rear. I got a 4x75 amp running the setup, but I can't get the clarity I want from teh front, so I am gonna buy a set of components and mount them up front.

Whoo hoo!!! Ebay here I come!

or if you have time and only $10 you can make plates out of 16ga. I did this and for the rears I did the same behind the panels for the back seat I fit in 6x9. When the car is my daily again I will do up a tiburon style sub setup and be done.

Matt's route is easy install for the fronts. I would go with them if I did this again.
