Ok I'm pretty fed up with my idle at the moment. My 240 (ka) will start up fine and then the idle will vary from 400 rpms to 1200 rpms. If I'm stopped the car's idle will jump from to 1200 and then bog out and die. I have changed the spark plugs and wires, Switched out MAF.

Any other suggestions?

 

it does this regardless of temp, or does it only do it when it gets warm...

 

well normally it would only do it until it warmed up. But now it is happening all the time.

 

sounds like TPS or IACV, if the KA has these.
