Good platform advice etc
Just wanting some opinions on what is a good platform is to start with for a 240.Basically is there a particular year that's better than another, certain model have better or more parts available for it than another year,or is most parts interchangeable for all years.
My reason for asking:
I dont know what it is but i recently just R&R a twin cam engine and tranny from a 95 replaced it with a 98 motor same tranny, for a friend and now i want one
. To me the car seemed very easy to work on everything is pretty accessible etc. This was my first time working on a 240 so as you can imagine i learned that there are a few things different from a 95 to 98 motor. I'm not looking to build a all out track car or swap to a red/black top motor if i buy one just want a good platform to start with if i do decide to go with a turbo motor setup.

Stand-alone options on both included air-conditioning and a glass sunroof (a typical power-sliding type on the coupe; a removable flip-up type on the hatchback).
^^ You are correct.
Supplementing the new motivation was the SE hatchback's exclusive new Handling Package. Its stiffer suspension, wider tires, limited-slip differential and four-wheel steering resulted in history's sportiest 240SX ever.
I also did not know that S13's had the option to get an LSD....
