spec-v with spray
just bring a broom and dustpan so you can sweep up your bottom end when it explodes all over the place.i worked at nissan and have seen the damage done to the spec v motors on boost and spray, imo they are horrible motors to do any type of forced induction to
damn i heard about em but i didnt know it was that bad lol...i heard if u run a turbo kit on a good tune on around 8lb you would be fine...but obviously nos would be the cheaper way out....just seein peoples opinions and what they think about it
thats what i dont know, i posted up on the b15sentra.net forum and some ppl who have spec-v's say then run 75 shot all day for almost a yr and nothing is wrong with there car....but some are tellin me to do a wet shot with safc
taken from qr25de.net
so wet kit up to 75 shot is "safe" on stock insides... supposedly. If this is your DD or only transportation you should do plenty of research before you do any purchasing. IMO dry kits are really pushing the limits of the stock fuel system.
Yeah the internals are still stock but everyplace/everywhere I checked says 75 is fine on stock internals. For the fuel line I T'd it off at the fuel line that runs to the fuel rail. It goes from a hard line near the fire wall to a grey thing that looks like a spinning top. The line has a teflon insert so if your kit is NX it will slide over the T but it will be hard to do it. Mines a ZEX and the line was to small for the T so I went and bought some high pressure fuel hose from Autozone and made a new line. I put a clamp at both ends of the line and 2 at the T. It's worked great for me and I've never had a problem with it.
I would say do a wet kit if you are going to do it. It would be safer.
