I would dump the stock manifold/cat setup if I was you (maybe get a full header), it has caused more premature engine deaths then nitrous or forced induction on QR25's.
do all the basic bolt ons first. header, exhaust, intake and a AFC and then tune with a wet 50 shot. If you want to be even safer get a FPR and bigger fuel pump.
humm my boy has a turbo spec and he runs 10-12 psi on it has been like that for i wanna say two years and has had no prob. motor is still running strong.
