Hi,
I've got an 1989 240sx with a sr20det motor im trying to get running everything is hooked up. ive got a test light and i hooked it up to the ignitor and im not getting any power there and on the distributor im only getting power to two prongs and on the coils im not gatting any spark so im stuck ... any suggestions will be appreciated thanks.

 

well it could be the harnest , the ignator or u are not geting no signal from the ecu. check the conector behind the r/side head lamp color wire black and red or blue and red fat wires.there is 5 wires and 4 wire on the ignator.on the 5 wire side u should get signal from ecu and on the 4 side is the signal for the coil pack.

 

where is the distributor on a sr again?

 

i gess he i whant to say cam sensor.
