S13 trouble
I has driving my 89 s13 sohc and the car over heated and the engine started smoking and now the starter spins but the engine doesnt turn. i checked out the motor and the valve cover gasket is blown and leaking oil onto the header but the engine give off this nasty rotten egg smell with you try to crank it. this is my first 240 so i dont know much about them i think its a blown headgasket but im up for other opinions. also if it is a headgasket anything i should worry about with this motor or is it a straight forward replacement of the gasket?

do compression test and see if it is head gasket, and if it is, and you know how to follow directions and have somone that knows how to work on cars that can watch you or help you do it your self, it cost alot of cash flow to have a shop replace the hg.
