Need some help full 240sx swap!
well so far ive pulled motor put motor in the other 240sx its a 91 240sx to a 89 240sx swap. car i bought was a 1989 240sx se. some of you might know the kid his name is matt anonmyous on TR. good car great conditon shell. ive got motor in, all power steering lines hooked up, raditor in, gas lines hooked up, fuel pump in, drive shaft, diff, cross memeber, rack and pinion, ect ect... when i bought this car i noticed this car does not have brake lines, no rears... no fronts... this car was STRIPPED didnt even have sway bars lol... im having probs with brake lines... do i just go to autozone buy brake lines? and bend the lines best i can to run front and rear lines? also on the harness, over by ecu i noticed the SOHC 240sx harness is little different mine has brown connector on DOHC 240 and white on SOHC 240. i have the DOHC engine harness but it appears that the white and brow difference have to controll the RPMs on tach and Speedo. do i need to cut off the white one and put the brown one on there if so do the connectors just go right on or are they not color matched wires?any thing i should watch out for / do let me know asap!thanks
when i did my dual cam to s13 sr swap i swapped the brown plug and i matched up all the wires i could and capped ther rest. (about 5) and my car ran fine everything worked.but theres 2 solid green wires (one is an AC relay and one controlls your speedo) a little trial and error on that part of it but hey thats about all the info i have. goodluck

switch to the brown plug color match wires. you can either junkyard the pre bent lines or buy lines of correct length/thread and get a line bender. measure 10x and bend once good luck.
