ive got a 240sx and my headgasket is bad and im thinkin of gettin a newer ka from the newer body style

is there any diffrences between tha s14 ka and the s13 ka?
do i need to change the ECU?

most time the diff is single cam and twin cam, the harness is also diff, was the blown up ka twin??? if its twin you shouldnt buy a new motor you should put a new HG on it and boost, anyway i drive an s13 and i love the hell out of it just ask me if you have any questions, i work S&R Performance names jeff

 

Might be easier to just swap intake manifolds then having to block/plug/and fiddle with all the vacuum and egr crap.But then again the S14 mani don't have the stupid butterflies!

 

not really any different i put on in my 93 the motor was out of a 98 lmk if u need help

 

dual cam to dual cam, there aren't really any differences. you'll find that mounts/brackets are different. the intake manifold is a touch different, but everything plugs in just fine. you'll also need to use your s13 dizzy, unless you want to change your harness.
there isn't anything major, is just a bunch of little things. my advice, compare everything side by side. if it is different, find out why and see what you can do to fix it, if you need to.
