i did a blacktop swap in my friends s14 but im getting no spark,its got fuel and its cranking over just fine but no spark at all.the harness has not been cut or changed in any way and the only thing not plugged in is the MAF sensor.im thinking the ignitor chip or the cam angle sensor is fucked but any other ideas what would cause this?

 

use a test light and check everything that has to do with your ignition system , when you come across somewhere where u dont have power then you found your problem

 

dont have a test light but ill do that when i get one...

 

i got the same concern and found out the ignitor was bad.angle sensor only for firing order.

 

im stuck at work right now but ill take the ignitor off of my car and try it when i get off work..thanks guys

 

ok the chip did'nt fix it...errr this sucks,im getting paid to do this swap cant even make it run..hopefully i get it running so my rep is'nt fucked.

 

Make sure that the coil packs have power. That +12V feed only powers the coil packs so its easy to have everything except spark if it's not connected. If it's in an S14, recheck your connections at F4, dash connector.
