I was wondering if anybody new how to fix this. my car is sputtering when its idling, and when I accelerate it starts to hesitate once it gets to 1500-2000 rpm but then goes away once i get above it. And I tried moving the distributer but it still does it, any other suggestions?

it could be a number or things...
try new spark plugs
new wires,
new dist. cap and rotor
new air filter
new fuel filter
if none of that has been done in a while, that could cause it.
there is a whole other list of things that could cause that, so start with the cheaper stuff.
