take out the sound deadning. its easy and takes off some decent weight.
things like alum driveshaft, fuel cell, alum exuast, light wheels, FRP body panels will get the weight down decently. if you want to get serious go with lexan wondows for the quarters and rear.

we stripped out a coupe and we thought we took out alot more weight than we actually did. We took it alittle further than what you did, and according to the scale, we only took out 256 pounds. Seemed like alot more as the pile of parts was growing. Its actually amazing how much difference that 250 pounds made. The car just feels happier.
good luck with your diet.

haha ya it felt happier but i didn't quite feel just the weight when i first started. when i first started taking mostly everything out i was swapping the E for the DE, so when i took it out for the first time it was gutted with the DE, vs. when i was driving it b4 with a stock E
