Default Just installed Turbo manifold...

I just installed a megan tubular manifold on my coupe this weekend - everything went great, but now I'm getting a pretty bad vibration under acceleration(not horrible, but I gotta fix it!). It has to be the exhaust -anyone ever have this problem? I have the megan o2 extension and Apex'I N1/ testpipe - thanks for any suggestions

i heard of the downpipe rubbing on the tranny or the bottom of the steering column. I dont know if that helps. Do you still have the little rubber mount that goes from the cat to tranny mount?

this isnt really to your question, but i have a tubular on my sr and idk if its just mine or if its all, but keep a eye out for things around it. mine runs extremly extremly hot, i have burned holes through 2 of the rubber 90 degree turbo elbows, and one of the rubber hoses going from the valve cover to the block. so just keep a eye out. and good luck with the vibration

for what valriconissan said, make sure to either get a stainless steel braided line to replace that rubber silicone hose going from the valve cover to the block so the heat won't burn through the hose, just zip tie it away from the manifold as possible. Also, remove the rubber S tube going from the valve cover to the intake, cuz if ur running a straight hose on the other side (valve cover to block) then ur gunna get oil going into the front of the turbo and all through ur intake system. so either get an air breather, or a catchcan to prevent that oil from getting in through there.
