go on AMS.com and check out there rebuild kit. its probably the best one around for the KA. its not a stock rebuild kit, its for forced induction.

and honestly, for me, the KA is very easy to rebuild, you shouldnt have much trouble. except maybe changing out your valve seals.

i've not done a whole lot of head work so i don't have alot of experience with valves and such, however, everything else was rather easy. Craftsman makes swivle 10/12/14mm sockets and they came in handy alot. things like taking the intake manifold off. it was a 5 minute job with that swivel 12.
other than that, find a good shop manual. (well worth the investment) and pay attention to details. The 240 is pretty easy to rebuild, its not like some other imports where you need a 10, 13, 15, and a 16 mm all in 6 inches.
good luck

the head is very easy to rebuild, but if you dont want to give it a shot then send it to clearawter cylinder head, if u dont feel like buying swivils then just take off the lower bracket that holds the intake many and then take off the bottom part of the mani then the top (ive pulled intake manis off so many times ive got it to a science lol) but motor rebuilding is easy on this one just make sure u do the timing right.... uh just go to a auto parts store for the parts becus usually rebuid kits dont come with everything u know..... sory for the long continuing sentences
