Default S13 Lighting

To start: I have an S13, flip-up lights, with Bosch H4's.

What are the best bulbs that I can use given my setup?

From the searching I've done, I've found that Osram Silver Star or Philips Vision Plus are the two best to use. I'm leaning towards the Philips VP from what I've read, but would like some additional feedback before I purchase.

what the best bulb is, is a lot like asking what the best honda engine is.
it all depends on what you want to do with it. if you are looking for a cool color, then the bulb would be something completely different than if you were wanting the power of the sun for your head light

Well the one's I listed actually give off useable light, if I wanted a cool color, I know of ebay or PIAA's.

I know I'm not going to get much power out of flip-ups whille retaining stock wiring, but was just wondering on what bulb to choose for best useable light using my setup.

switch to a sil front, kouki front, or s15 front and rock some hid headlights. Done

stock flip up's sadly that is as good as it gets (h4) you could hid the flip-up but the cutoff is so nasty that cops will ticket you ALOT!

yea I had 100w h4's then went to flip up 8000k hid's. ... They were great but like they said wern't really practical to use without getting ticketed. Now i just rock some silverstars because i was tired of my h4 housings foging up. sealed beams throw the light so much better then those h4 housings!!!! man I miss having hid's lol

it would take some geometry work to figure out how to set the mirrors up, but if you really wanted flip up HIDs without the more common issues, you would have to design the housing so that the light went where it was supposed to go
