I am in the process of working out a deal for a top moint mani, and a t3 turbo and such, im thinkin some 550's.... was wondering about how the new setup should be expected to handle different types of driving...

i know it is going to be faster+10 lol, but how much diff will it be to drift? i am still very into improving my small amount of drifting skill and i wasnt sure if it make it more difficult to slide with a larger turbo.

Well, just think about it. Larger turbo usually see's more lag than what your stock is at, although I'm not sure how much difference you'll really see with a t3. Its not going to directly affect "drifting" if thats what your worried about. It will however change acceleration and power characteristics, so its up to you how you handle it...

 

thats exactly what i ment, i know its not a huge size upgrade so it shouldnt be a horendous jump, but i was curious to how much later in the RPM's that i would get the same feel and power jump as with the t25. thanks for the thoughts chris

 

I think if your gonna use it mainly for drift...Just go with the s15bb..Quick spool and decent gains plus not alot of modifications needed.

i dont only wanna use it for drifting, although mainly. want it to be fast too. can you run the s15 on a top mount? and the damn s15's are like $600...cant really afford it...

yea sounds great man, cant wait to see what your driving at the meet. but back on topic, seeing on how KMart dont pay me enough for a $600 turbo... and i have found a very new and clean T3... what range would this spool at on the SR? how much later than the stock T25?

i dont think it will spool to much later than stock.. im guessing like 400-500 rpm later?? im guessin though

 

well if so that would be awsome, just wish it was more than guesstamation lol. is the T3 only that much bigger? thought it was a lil more significant than that

 

Yea it has size difference but im thinking bout the mani too..It flows better than stock.. Ill look into it somemore
