well like i said i got and idol problem on my signal cam 240sx

well when i start it the car wants to die but after i warm it up it runs but it idols down when i stop and have to give it a little gas and then sometimes it never happens

i had it look at by some people that work at ford and they told me to put new injector plugs on it so i got them but before i go and do it does it sound right

let me know what you think i should do thanks

 

just do the basic tuneup stuff, like plugs, and cap and rotor and a fuel filter. Im having the same issues with my car and its the fuel filter. pretty much if you have ran your car very low on gas its gonna suck up all that shit at the bottom of your tank and its gona put garbage in your system.

 

also check, vaccuum hoses for leaks, clean the MAFS, and CHECK THE TPS, check injectors/fuel rail. All things couldve easily been found suggested in the 50 trillion idle problem threads that have been posted on any car forum in the world.

 

thanks ill look at it today so do you think that it could be the injector plugs or should i not waste my time

 

Just check everything they listed first before you go spending money you may not have to...

 

well i have the plug wires so

 

I'm having problems too, the engine revs and almost dies.... then revs and almost dies... then revs and it dies!!! So, then I have to start the car up. Now it sometimes will just stall out if i'm in nuetral and stopping at the same time.
