Look at the sticky on the top of this page, and in the list of information in it, it goes over what all you need for the swap.

As for cost, it depends on where you find the parts, most will have to be bought New. But the total cost on my swap was about 600.

if you are lucky you can find alot of the parts at the junkyard. your better off buying the hardlines off ebay they are not to expensive and its way worth it cuz they are a pain to get out.

the stickies are pretty good. You can also check out the stickies on 240sxforums.com if you need some more info. Get your list together and start searching the junkyards and calling the local shops.
I had a buddy who got lucky and got his swap done for less than 300 bucks. He got most his stuff at the junkyard, and by most i mean like 98%. I've seen people spend 1000 because they bought so much of it new. cost all depends on your timeline and budget. If you like new things and have the cash, then you'll spend more. But if you can handle it being good enough to get the job done, then you'll spend less. Same goes for time, if you need it now, it'll cost more. If you can wait, you'll save some cash.
good luck.
