can someone verify the harness for the cluster please?

the single cam cluster harness was given : 24013 40F00 (square box)-3 C

the twin cam cluster harness was given : 24013 40F00 (square box)-3 C

both harness are the same...ain't the twin cam cluster harness should be the different one? Is this why my rpm and speedometer wasn't reading??? awhile i was looking at each harness total of 3 seem to be is missing pins. i'm not sure is suppose to.

have anyone has a twin cam cluster harness???

i want to see the differences between 89 single cam harness and 91-93 dohc.

just to make sure that a 110mph is a dohc cluster (supposely 93 dohc)
also making sure that the harness or both harness work the same...

Nissan FAST says that the part number you listed is valid for all year S13's. To my knowledge, the only difference between the 2 speedos is the range. Otherwise, they're interchangeable. The tach difference is that the single-cam and dual-cam tachs are setup to read different types of signals. You can't use a single-cam tach on a dual-cam ECU. Dats it.

Ddid you not read what I just posted? The single cam harness and dual cam harness are the same. It's the single cam cluster that is not compatible with your SR20 ECU.

if single cam harness should work for a twin cam cluster...why isn't my twin cam cluster speedo and rpm ain't working? that's my concern.

let me tell you what...when I purchase the twin cam cluster it already have a harness on it so all i did was just swapped out all the small bulbs from my single cam to the twin cam....

so for sure, i know that my orignal harness from the single cam should work...i'm just curious that the harness that is on the twin cam might be bad harness...that my case....so in the morning i will put my previous harness and swapped into the twin cam one...

so, hopefully that it...hopefully....and so i will keep up the update if something else goes wrong....

and EPSTEIN thanks dude...i would be boiling water by now....

Like Epstin noted, the SOHC and DOHC harnesses are the same. There are no differences between the two. Let me get this straight, you have a SOHC S13, w/ a SR swap, w/ a DOHC cluster, but the cluster is not working. Have you changed out the speedsensor? You are not able to use the SR speedsensor, you have to use the USDM s13 (SOHC or DOHC) speedsensors.
